So to be truthful it really started yesterday when the temperature was 98° and humid. We haven't put in the window unit AC's yet. BIG mistake! emoticon (DH goes to his Dad's on Wednesday so he wasn't home to help put them in. It's a 2 person job). Went to Jazzercise came home and it was hot, got a little food in, but it was just too hot to eat. Went to bed early because I was exhausted and it's usually cooler in there. We were supposed to get a huge storm that was going across the Midwest. Thankfully it went north of us.

So I get up, get ready, it's still humid so I am sweating a bit. Just about time to go to the car and thunder and lightening starts striking. Rush out the door with my lunch, bag of stuff and purse. Get into the car and it POURS buckets, start the car, turn on the AC whew that was close! Put car in drive and I hear clunk, clunk, clunk, cluck emoticon - what the heck its that!?! No not a flat tire, call hubby see if he is close to come back home and helps me. Nope, (he's a delivery driver) he's already at his first stop. SO I grab all my stuff and head for the Jeep, now I soaking wet. emoticon We haven't driven it for awhile but it starts and I go. Driving down the 4 lane street and can't drive in the right lane, it is raining so much that the puddles are coming over the car and I can't see. Finally the rain stops as I am almost to work. But as I was driving what I thought was water dripping out of my hair was actually the sun roof dripping on me. emoticon Seriously!!!! What have I done for this morning!?! Get to work pull the car in the warehouse to dry off, thankfully it is only that it wasn't put on right last time it was used. Don't tell DH, I'm not because I used the sun roof last! emoticon

After work my brother comes down to take the tire off the car (DH is at his Thursday nite golf league). Put tire in the Jeep and get to Tire Discounters emoticon with 20 minutes to spare. Those guys are great, they didn't charge me for plugging my tire! emoticon

All thru this crappy day, I was on plan emoticon , I didn't let the stress get into my head and mindless eat! emoticon Now the weather is a wonderful 81° and no humidity and is supposed to stay like this for awhile, so sorry Duke not gonna put in the AC's.

Hope everyone else day was better than mine! emoticon

uggh! What a terrible day for you,,,,,,, but somehow we get through them,,,,, life is funny that way,,,, although when we go through tough times,,, it feels like things are not going to get better,,,, but they eventually do...... I am slowly learning that....... BUT GOOD FOR YOU PAT!!!! You did not "mindless" eat,,,, which is always my MO when I am really stressed,,,, I habitually use food to calm me down or make me feel better when I have had a tough day,,,,,,,, it looks like you took your first steps in moving forward girlie! Good for you! emoticon Keep up the good work! emoticon

You rock - a day like that has been the excuse for many a binge and many an off target day for others and yet you did a great job not losing your cool and not using it as an excuse. Good for you.

That is great that you didn't go off track while your day was going in ways you hadn't planned emoticon ..It is winter where I am and we also have pouring rain sometimes in the summer and sunshine in the winter.
Have a nice weekend and keep up the brilliant work emoticon
