One day at a time

Thursday, June 13, 2013

I haven't blogged in a while so I thought I should. I've been in a little depression. I think it started with the death of my cat a year ago and since then turned to the body and all the things this body doesn't do that it used to. I'm also feeling old and unattractive, but worst of all is my mind telling me no one wants me anymore.

DH and I are heading for the cabin just the two of us, so hopefully that will help get me out of this funk.

I felt the same way after I lost my golden retriever so I understand. But Kara, look at the pictures in your gallery. It is clear to me that you are very much loved and wanted. You are a beautiful, kind hearted, hard working, compassionate woman. Don't let anyone tell you any differently including that little voice in your head.

Go relax, rejuvenate, and sleep. It will be ok.

Then go get your nails, toes and hair done, put on a pretty dress and go dancing.

Hey! You named your blog today the same as mine!

This is what I had to say about it:

When you break down goals into smaller steps, it isn't even that hard. All you have to do is say "yes" to the right things, one day at a time.
