So much homework!!!

Thursday, June 13, 2013

Okay, so I am doing a statistics class during the during, online. Okay, fine. It's just another math class, right? WRONG! I spend about 5 hours every Wednesday doing homework, and that does not include the four tests I have to do outside of that time. Today, I spent 9 hours doing homework! That's not stop-and-go homework. That is 9 hours straight, no eating, no distractions, just homework. Thank god the other college is close by and I can use their internet. If it weren't for that I would be seriously struggling to do this work. Oh, and I forgot to mention, it's 4-5 assignments per week!
I didn't even get around to doing my Japanese homework (which I was going to work on tomorrow anyhow, but still, I figured I would be in school mode still). Hopefully, I can find a quiet place in the library tomorrow that I can use since this is a Japanese speech class, not writing. That comes next. *Sigh* I put a lot of pressure on myself.

So here's my usual week: Sunday-Tuesday I work. Wednesday I do Statistics homework. Thursday I do Japanese homework. Friday is my day off, which will most likely be put towards a new blog project if I get motivated enough to do it and/or working on cosplay. Every other Saturday I work. If I'm not working, I most likely have something planned. It's a lot to do. It feels like I'm either at work or doing schoolwork. Usually no time for health and fitness.

I think, no, I know I need to start waking and going to bed earlier so I can go work on getting more fit.

PS been working on finishing those anime. This last week I finished The Unlimited, K, and Kokoro Connect. Hopefully, I'll finish Inu x Boku SS and Welcome to the NHK soon! Seriously drilling through Yuyu Hakusho as well!

I have heard some scary things about college statistics classes...yikes! Between the stress and the time constraints, school makes it very hard to be healthy, but the good decisions you make will just cause you to feel better and have more energy! Keep up the good steps!

What they both said! Any way to combine studies/reading at least, with some physical activity? Got the reading materials on a tablet or the like, and you can read while bouncing around? Listen to lessons while workin' out?

Set a timer every hour to get up and stretch - walk around a few minutes... 9 hrs is way too long to remain sitting/focused on one thing! & Don't forget to eat ;) Need that food for thought ;)

I was there with you once upon a time...but VERY limited attention span. I finally finished several degrees and appreciate what it took to succeed. You can do this. Step by step, you can do anything you choose to. Keep Sparkin'!!!
