I know when my "bad" time of the day is but not sure how to fix

I have determined that the evenings are the worst time for me. Since the hubbs works the night shift I am with my girls(10&12) in the evenings alone. And it is particularly stressful! I get frustrated when they don't behave and oh I won't even get started talking about the drama that ensues......! I am a stress eater and to cope with family drama I loose my self in food.....not good I know. I am really unsure how to change this. Can anyone relate with suggestions???

    Emotional eating is a problem for most of us here. When I get stressed and want to eat (and I know it's not because I'm hungry) I'll go brush my teeth, I hate eating right after I've brushed my teeth. Maybe try taking a bath, read, or listen to music, anything to relax you. We can never run from stress, but we can control how we deal with it. emoticon
