Some news ... Good and Not so good.

So ... I haven't been active here for ........ OMG! OVER A YEAR!!! emoticon

I can give so many excuses, and reasoning's as to why I haven't been here ... several being "good", but in the end I own up to it being that I was just not in the right "head space" at the time.

I did continue my weight loss while I was in college, I even won a "Create Your Best Body" competition that was held at my college (WOOT WOOT!!), and am a proud of the progress that I had made. emoticon

Here is where the "fun" has fizzed to a crawl. My mom passed away in April, and I have been dealing with things that I just wasn't ready to deal with, on top of taking my final semester's exams. Needless to say, my nutrition and exercise went straight down the tube! I haven't weighed myself in since mid-April, and I am pretty scared to step on that scale to see what damage I have done to my progress so far emoticon ... I also stil have to unpack my scale, as I had to make an emergency move away from the verbally and emotionally abusive roommate I had moved in with LAST summer.

I am in a much better space now, both environmentally, physically, and emotionally. I am ready to get back in the game!!!

Here we go!! emoticon

I am happy to have gotten out of that situation with my roommate, and am in SUCH a better place now! ;)

Just need to get back into the swing of things here, and in the rest of LIFE. emoticon

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I lost my dad this year, and you're never ready for it. emoticon And roommates suck! Even the good ones. emoticon

Sorry to hear about your mother.
Congratulations on moving away from your roommate, though, and welcome back!
