Happiness is a cup of coffee.

Tuesday, June 11, 2013

I ended up having to snack and drink coffee last night to keep myself awake long enough to turn in my homework (with 7 minutes to spare!) and hated only that it sent me over my calories for the day; up until then, I was doing surprisingly well, having had more than 30% of my calories at lunch!

Now, if I can get myself in gear to get homework turned in early, which will be very important this weekend, because we've got so much going on...

emoticon Coffee may be what gets me going this morning, too... hasn't worked yet, but there's still more in my cup.

Coffee provides a great jumpstart to my day. Caffeine is a good appetite suppressant too. I try to limit myself to one cup a day to avoid the jitters. Some days I'm successful, some not.

Suprisingly, decaf works for me too--then I can still get to sleep.

I love drinking coffee in the morning on the front porch, watching the birds at the feeder and the birdbath. I love drinking coffee at Starbucks. I love drinking coffee while soaking in a hot tub, or in bed reading a good book.......what is the common denominator? COFFEE!!!

Oh, and I am an avid tea drinker too!! Especially hot tea.

However, I do not like carbonated beverages.....I know...I am weird.......

Glad you got your homework in!!

Sorry I couldn't stay long after the Sea Rim run, my boys had left the house with a roast in the slowcooker--STILL ON!!! Had to hurry home and unplug it.

I love coffee. I love the warmth it gives my tummy, which is why I even like drinking it at night (deadline or not!).

There's still more in your cup, and you can get refills... emoticon emoticon
