Help Please - Camping Tips

We are taking our 5 yr and and 3 yr old on their first big camping trip this week. We leave Thursday morning and return sometime Sunday afternoon. We are going with a couple friends and their 7 yr old son. We all sat down and planned out the menu last week. I am just gonna try to watch my portion sizes and trying to bring some fruit along for a healthier snack option for me than chips.

I am going to try to go run Friday morning and Sunday morning. And I am sure we will do some hiking. But was wondering what other fitness camping tips some of my AWESOME Sparkfriends might be able to offer.

    We always brought outside games we could play like badminton and a kickball. It isn't straight fitness, but if you are out there playing with your kids it certainly counts for something. Also does the place you are camping have a lake or beach, because then you could swim with your family, but also maybe take some you time to do a little. Also nature walks/hikes a fun time for all and you get fitness in.

    Trail mix is a great snack and doesn't need to be kept cool!
