does it get any easier

So, here I am again... Months later trying to find my spark again. I am honestly just tired. I see the weight again and I hear the excuses coming out of my mouth. This creature of routine has none and doesn't seem to of found a solution yet. I was thinking of just trying to find an at home solution for now but I need help. I need something that is unique and that is different every workout. I get bored quick so I have to stay engaged to want to do it. It could be inside or out doesn't matter. I just need something. emoticon

    I can tell you from my experience it DOES GET EASIER! You just have to hang in there. I lost 40 pounds my first time on Spark people in 2010, gained it all back. I came back in March of 2012 and I have not stopped yet. I have lost 65 pounds and that was with a 6 month plateau where I got stuck and gained back 10 pounds. I have since re lost it and my healthy lifestyle is just that, a lifestyle.

    My tips for starting are to start with small goals. Work on water first, then work on tracking your food, then work on staying in range. Not all at once. When you are comfortable add in exercise. Baby steps add up to huge steps. The other thing I will say and it's just my opinion, but I wouldn't lose weight in a way you aren't willing to do forever. The great part about my healthy lifestyle is what I am doing now is what I am going to do forever, and when I go into maintenance, I won't be changing things. Having to go "off" something is what makes us gain the weight back... so you have to find whatever works for you and commit to it. :) If you can't go low carb forever, (I sure can't) then don't go low carb to lose weight, if you can't live life on Jenny Craig food, don't lose weight that way. Oh gosh, I hope the Jenny Craig people don't smack me LOL. But hopefully you see what I'm saying. You can do it, but it is going to be a long, hard process, but it is also rewarding and fun at times too! emoticon
