Maybe I shouldn't be frustrated....

Friday, June 07, 2013

But I am!!! My hubby eats whatever and I mean whatever he wants: Mt Dew, fudge rounds, Beer, fast food, Candy, Donuts, anything he wants! He does have a physical (most of the time) job but when he gets home he sits and watches TV, and doesn't gain a pound in fact since he switched jobs he has lost weight. But here I am eating the best I can and working my butt off (literally) just to be able to lose a pound a week!! AHHHHH its so frustrating!!! I'm not quitting, I am so determined to get to a healthy weight and keep it that way, I'm just frustrated!!! Don't get me wrong he is very supportive of me and my goals, he can just eat what he wants and it drives me crazy! lol
On another note.....
My beautiful daughter turns 16 tomorrow!! This is a big milestone for me because on my 16th birthday she was 2 weeks old (yes I was 15 when I had her)!! She is such a joy and keeps me motivated everyday to be the best mom/person I can be!
And another note......
I have two weeks to lose 2 pounds to meet my first big goal of 10 pounds!! I'm pretty confident that I can do this, I just have to keep my eye on the prize, which is a new purse and to be that much closer to a happier, healthier me!!
I hope you guys are having a great day and keep sparking!!

It is very frustrating when the man in our life drops the weight like its hot. (ha!) My hubs is the same way. its very frustrating but he is very supportive too. You've got this you can DEFINITELY meet you 10lb goal in no time! Keep doing what you're doing and don't let the weird manly weight loss discourage you!

Happy birthday to your daughter. More muscle mass naturally is one of the many ways men irritate women without lifting a finger, it's a conspiracy I tell you!

Even though you are frustrated....so glad to hear you are sticking with your plan. I know how you feel as my DH can do the same thing, but it's because of his great support I am able to continue on this journey to getting healthy. Have a wonderful weekend. emoticon

Happy Birthday to your daughter! My fiance has been trying to lose weight but the reason he's frustrating is he'll drop 2,3,6, 7! pounds in a week, and I, just like you, are working my butt off to lose 1 or 2. But we're the kind of girls who will always have to work at it and when we accept that it will become less frustrating I think. But I'm right there with ya!
