Namaste !

Friday, June 07, 2013

Yes, even animals do yoga ! I saw this picture online and thought it was a riot. Lemurs are wonderful, aren't they ?

This picture reminded me that I really need to find a new yoga studio. Now that I have income again, I'd like to resume regular practice with an instructor. To save money (while laid off) I've been doing DVDs as well as online workouts, but it's not the same. I miss class.

So, TGIF !! I hope to blog about my new job this weekend. It really has been working out well. More later.

Love the lemurs! Glad to hear you're enjoying the new job and look forward to a blog update on it.

You and me both! I also need to get back into yoga. I find that the older I get, the more effort I need to focus on being limber and flexible, and of course yoga is the go-to workout for such an objective.

Thanks again for commenting on my last blog post :) Unfortunately, I wish I could point to an easy vice to eliminate such as diet soda. I don't drink soda of any kind, nor do I consume anything else with aspartame or artificial sweeteners. My gut instinct tells me that my cortisol levels (I'm rather a high-strung individual and get stressed out easily) disrupt my overall hormone levels, which is contributing to the adult acne. See? More reason I need to get back on the yoga bandwagon ;) I figure I can't go wrong with sweating/meditating for clearer skin.

Congrats on the job! That's great news!!!!

And I love my at home yoga practice, but today, I must admit it was frustrating when the Roku stopped working in the middle of my video (not exactly good yoga when the video suddenly stops!). I just had to do my own thing after that!

You're a very wise woman, Karen! Yoga is a sound investment in one's health that pays some pretty powerful dividends, from what I keep reading and hearing. Love the picture :) Anxious to hear more about your job, too - glad everything's working out so well! You made a great choice! emoticon - Susan

I love lemurs! We have a zoo near and they have a whole area where you can play with them. I have some amazing pics from there.

I hope you'll find the yoga class you want!
