It's Time to Dare to Lose: Phase 1

Let the Daring to lose phase 1 begin. What does that entail? Not exactly sure. Just felt that was an appropriate way to start the first blog of this (hopefully) life changing journey. Today was day one of the first phase. The first phase being the first thirty days. My overall goal is to lose about 31 lb's. I plan on reaching this rather large goal by breaking it up into tiny goals that will last about a whole month-30 days. Each month I will create 1-2 short term goals. These goals will help me reach my overall goal in a healthy way.
First Month Goals:
1. Prepare all my meals. Only allow myself to eat out 1-2 times a week.
2. Exercise 4-5x/week. This will include 30-60 minutes of running/walking and finishing the 3o day challenge.
3. Log everything on Sparkpeople and continue to Blog.
I had mention trying a cleanse. I am a teacher and have two weeks left of school. I will plan on trying the cleanse once I am done for the year.
Past diet and weight loss efforts have failed. The reason? I gave up. Sometimes I would lose weight and then feel i would be able to treat myself, which would turn into an all out binge. Gotta love the "Having a little more won't hurt. I'll work it off tomorrow" mindset. Other times I would just give up.
No more giving up. I am 28 years old and it is time for me to feel good about my body and the way I look.
