Just wondering if Murphy's Law will kick in...
My daughter is 9 years old and wants to be an actress so we got her a talent agent and did photos and the whole bit...that was in November and she had one audition in December but nothing since.
Since she had photos done we have been instructed basically not to change her appearance by dying or changing her hairstyle etc. because if she gets an audition they expect to get what they see in her headshots.
Tomorrow is crazy hair day at her school and she wanted to put streaks in her hair for it, so does her sister (that does not want to be an actress) so we went all over the place tonight looking for spray dye for her hair and came up with none.
So in the end I decided that we would just chance it and use the stuff I have used before which fades with each washing and probably lasts about a week depending on how many times you wash your hair etc....and at 9 she is not showing all that often as I forget to remind her! It's not like she has been going on auditions left right and centre, it's been 6 months and nothing....
Anyways, I found myself wondering if now that I have dyed purple streaks at the front of her head (although not permanent) that she might actually get an audition and I will have to find a quick way to get the dye out...most likely having to call a hairdresser!
I also wonder, would it really be the end of the world if she showed up with purple streaks to an audition considering it seems to be the trend right now?
