Fruit & Water Question

Wednesday, June 05, 2013

If I drink a cup of juice:

a) Does that count as any water intake for the day? emoticon

b) Does that count as a serving of fruit? emoticon

I don't drink a lot of juice, but when I do, I wonder these things!

I don't typically drink juice, but I would count it as a fruit serving, not water. I'm pretty strict about my water, though...counting only water as water. I don't think it really matters as long as you are consistent about what you choose to do. It's your plan, your life. Count it as it makes the most sense to you.

No, but it does hydrate you, and it only counts as a serving of fruit if it is 100% fruit juice.

It has calories and that is what lets it down. I drain it off or throw it away.
