BLC 22 is just a few hours away!

Tuesday, June 04, 2013

So now that I have officially gained back everything I lost, it's time to get serious again. Yes, I can pile on the excuses and there are some truly good ones in there but the reality is what it is. I got stressed and I stopped moving and started carb binging and the weight came back on. I know why and how, the only thing now is to deal with it.

So therefore, here are my goals for BLC 22:

In the next twelve weeks, I want to lose 12-15lbs, be able to work out for 45min without getting horrible winded, and be able to do 100 squats without stopping, 20 proper push-ups, a 3min plank, 100 jumping jacks without stopping, 100 sit-ups without stopping. I will accomplish these goals by working out 5-6 days per week using a variety of videos and walking, recording my daily intake faithfully and keeping to the ranges I have calculated to be correct, drinking at least 64oz of water every day, eating 3c of veggies every day, and limiting my sugar intake. I will take before and after pictures this round, weigh-in every week on Wednesday, and take measurements at the start, 4wks, 8wks, and the end.

I'm doing a fun 5k this Saturday as well but it will be a family thing so a slow walk which is all I can do right now. My feet are definitely telling me that I haven't been moving in ages so I'm trying to keep my workouts short and sweet right now with lots of stretching and doing things to keep the feet happy.

I'm currently using my BL Power Walk dvd to get me started. I can tone that down if needed but it's a nice build-up. Still haven't decided if I'm going to do Turbo Jam after this or one of the new workout series but that's a few weeks away although I am leaning towards TJ, we'll see. I also have some things to help me accomplish the other goals for squats, push-ups, jumping jacks, sit-ups, and planks which I will start doing tomorrow.
