Planted my veggie garden!

Monday, June 03, 2013

Wow.. I cannot believe I have not blogged since last November! What can I say, I have been busy!

So last year I was given some tomato and cantaloup plants. Lots of them. We had a dead crab apple tree, so I planted them there. This year... I bought my plants so I got to choose!

I have 3 tomatoes (roma and two types of yellow). Broccoli, radishes, cucumbers, purple & orange peppers, zucchini, butter nut squash, butter cup squash, beets, pea pods and swiss chard.

Hopefully a good mixture of stuff grows.

Thanks all. I did find some strawberries growing in the rocks in the front...i'm letting those grow emoticon usually don't let stuff grow in the rocks!

I also relocated an oak tree emoticon I really hope it handles the transplant!

Impressively organised! We need to get started here! It's fantastic when everything starts growing and you've got instant fresh salad! emoticon

Very colorful! I never knew there were purple peppers (sounds like a tongue twister). I've had purple potatoes in that past, and purple beans as well. Enjoy!

Sounds like a phenomenal garden! Love my garden (tomatoes, red and yellow peppers, arugala, bibb lettuce, purple lettuce, strawberries and herbs), but the bunnies do too! **SIGH** I keep trying.

    Hugs and smiles!
