First of the month weigh in. Boo!

I weigh in at the beginning of every month. Today was the weigh in. I was not happy with the scale this morning. It was up a pound. It is not the scale's fault, it is mine. I have been enjoying the summer a little too much. Too many events that include food! (Greek Festival on Saturday and Buffet on Sunday.)

Well, now I know the bad news and I will have to deal with it. My plan is to increase my activity level while we are away on vacation. I will really not be in control of what is being served for meal time. I will try to make the best selections possible from the foods that are being served. We just had a very tasty weekend so I am thinking this pound up is just temporary. I hate it that the weight creeps up because it is never going to creep back down unless I actively work on it.

I plan to weigh every morning of our trip and keep track of my meals and the number of steps I take in a notebook as I will not have computer access. If the scale is up, I will be very careful until it is back down. Hopefully, I will not have any weight creep while I am away.

    Don't worry to much about that pound you have gained. It can be due to so many things. However, being aware is the start of losing the pound and maybe even more!

    Your plan sounds great for your holiday - more activity and choosing wisely is the way to go!
