My body is happier with healthier foods!

This weekend just gone my mum and I went to stay with one of her friends... we got thoroughly spoiled with a delicious 3 course dinner, wines and calvados... then on the way home we stopped at a lovely coffee shop and I indulged in strong coffee and a cheese and chive scone with lashings of butter... today my body is not a happy bunny!

With all the healthy eating I have been doing lately my poor body decided I had overdone the naughtiness of rich food and is feeling bloated, lethargic and a bit icky!

So I am now looking forward to a healthy salad tonight as I know it will make me feel better... this is excellent as it means eating healthily has already become a habit... woohoo!

Only snag is next weekend I have another indulgent session coming up - where I live we occasionally do a Progressive Supper where we each host one course of a 3 course dinner then go to other houses for the other 2 courses... lots of naughty food and LOTS of drinking followed by a late night disco!

Still, once that is out of the way and I have recovered I have no more naughty things planned until the autumn.... phew!

    Your Progressive Supper sounds as if its a lot of fun!! Good food, good company and an enjoyable evening all around. There is nothing wrong with the occasional night of overindulgence. Maybe if you readjust the rest of your week accordingly you will find that the evening didn't cause too much damage. You have the whole summer for damage control.
