Still Here

Monday, June 03, 2013

Hey spark friends! I know I haven't done any blogging lately, but that doesn't mean I'm not here. emoticon I've been hitting the gym 4-5 days a week and tracking my food pretty consistently. I've just been too busy to write. School is winding down for the year here, and I've made arrangements for the boys to go to child care two mornings a week so I can keep up my healthy habits. Just finishing up some teacher appreciation gifts and hoping for some warmer, drier weather.

Any thoughts on what to do about my kindergartner's teacher? I really am not pleased with her and I don't want to give her a gift, but the aide has been great. But I feel like I can't do one without the other. I don't know what I'll do if my 5 year-old gets this teacher next year. Move him to another class I guess. We're seriously considering homeschooling again. There are pros and cons both ways, and it's hard to decide which is the better course of action. This being a mom thing is tough!

Anyway, off to hit the showers after another good workout. Have a great day!

    Sounds like you're doing great!

It's really hard when your child has a teacher you don't like. I would say, just give her something very generic: a coffee mug with some chocolates in it, or somesuch - then you've done your duty without having to give her a lot of thought.

In our school system we can request a teacher for the next school year, but we have to do it before the end of the current school year.

    Good luck!
