Practicing the word “No”.

Do you ever feel like you're training yourself to understand the word "no" again.
Sometimes, I truly feel as if I'm having to train my mind every time the thoughts of not doing the exercise, writing down food, wanting a freaking beer – to immediately throw that thought out and say the word no.
I mean it's a very simple word – no. One syllable very easy to say. But as adults, I find that we have to truly relearn that word.
We know what's good for us but we occasionally still want the self sabotage ourselves.
So for today I'm going to practice using the word no.
No, I will not skip my bike ride.
No, I will do that yoga routine.
No, I will write down all the food that I eat.
No, I will not have that beer that's in the Frig. Okay, maybe I will have that. But I will write it down. The houses on both sides me this week have a gazillion cars in front of them and I hear them constantly – so yes, I may drink. But, I'll write it down.
