I've found several go-to foods that I love, my tummy loves and they help me stay on track.
Unfortunately, no one grocery store around me carries all of my fav items.
I have to go to 3 different stores. Fortunately, they are within a 5 mile radius of my house. Unfortunately, I don't always make the time to shop on a regular basis, so sometimes run out of something. Then, I'm slipping and sliding on that slippery food choice slope.
Ideally, here's what I have in my house all the time:
--Premier Protein drinks- chocolate. 30 gms protein 160 cal
--Dannon Lite & Fit Greek yogurt. 12 gms protein 80 cal
--JUST FOUND: Yoplait Greek frozen yogurt pops. 4 gms protein 80 cal THEY SATISFY!
--Jarlsberg Lite sliced swiss cheese. 7gms protein 50 cal/slice
--Laughing Cow lite spreadable cheese wedges-garlic & herb 2gms protein 35 cal BIG TASTE!
--Lite mozzarella cheese sticks 7 gms protein 50 cal per stick
--FF Canned refried beans. Preferably Taco Bell brand. 8 gms protein 100 cal 1/2c
--Pace picante salsa
--Roasted almonds. Roasted & Salted, Habenaro (tastes like bbq potato chips) & cocoa roast. 6 gms protein 170 cal per 28 nuts THEY SATISFY!
--Starbucks ground coffee. Blonde Willow Blend- caf & decaf (I mix them)
--Hills Bros sf cappuchino mocha mix
--Alpine sf hot Apple Cider mix
I could survive on the above for a LOOOONNNNGGGG time!
I buy a bunch of each at a time and HOARD them to myself!!
