Day #12 of Making a Habit

I am back!!! On 6/20/13 I started on the journey to get my exercise groove back. I was doing the bare minimum (24 minutes ) last semester; an exchange of exercise time for study time that I was all too willing to make. Returning to school has become very important to me and I want to do the best that I can academically. Unfortunately this exchange had negative consequences such as reduced muscle mass, reduced strength , not much effect on cardio capacity. So I started a 21 day quest to make exercise a priority once again!

Day # 12 and I am pumped!!!!!!
This week I logged 620 minutes of exercise- walking , sports conditioning, jumping rope, weight training and core. I FEEL GOOD!!!!!! I have even found that I will sneak minutes in - such as I will walk around the block a few times during the work day- I am lucky I have that kind of job that I can walk around the block(hill on 2 of the 4 sides ) on the way to the copy machine emoticon

I wish I could share just how good I feel- both mentally, physically and spiritually. Grounded , healthy , strong and ready for more!!!!

Next stop - 21 days and rehabitation - exercise will once again become a habit for me
