June 1--- lost 3.4 pounds this week!

I've read in blogs and articles that it helps to kick start the weight loss by changing up your exercise routine and daily calories. I worked out more this week, almost every day instead of the 3-5x a week I had been doing the last month. I also have been trying to cut back my calories by even a hundred each day. Before, most days I was eating in the higher range of my calories, this week I was trying for the lower. And it worked! I lost 3.4 pounds this week! I know it won't always be like this, but it sure feels good to finally see results on that mean old scale.
How is it possible to feel skinny at 236 pounds? I can't tell you why, but I sure do.The "skinny" feeling is not coming from the number on the scale, but the fact that right now I am wearing a pair of pants I couldn't pull up over my hips in December. Yesterday I had on a pair of work pants that were so tight a few months ago that I wouldn't wear them. Woo hoo!
