New Month, New Day!

I am feeling much better than yesterday! I think I needed to write that out and get it off my chest. I got a tiny piece of news for my friend who was in the car accident... He got brain surgery yesterday and they're keeping him in a coma for now... In my mind, if they took the time to perform brain surgery, then that means that they have hope he could live, right?! Well I must hold on to that!!! People can't start thinking of him as passed, he needs us.

I ended up eating a lot of bad crap last night (like chocolate, pop and chips)... But honestly, I think it helped. I know it's horrible that I'm happy I did it, but if there's a day I had to, that was it! lol Today is a new day, start of a new month, and I am still going to kick butt!

**Guys, I'm about to share some personal girly info, so if you want, you can skip paragraphs ;) ** I am a mother who honestly barely ever ever buys anything for herself... Well I had owned the same 2 bras for 3 years now (they were amazing quality from a special plus size bra shop) so I took great care of them, but it was time for new ones, because I dropped some weight and it didn't fit no more!! lol I was in a 44C, and yesterday I bought a 40C!!!! Down 2 bra sizes baby!!! Small victory, but a victory none the less! I'm thinking, if I dropped 2 sizes where I've only lost 4 inches, how many sizes went down for my pants, where I lost 8 inches?!? :D

Not a long blog today, but I just wanted you all to know that I am feeling better!

Thank you ALL for being there for me... It made me feel really good to read those comments this morning!!

Congratulations on the new "ladies wear" LOL!!

Glad you got some good news about your friend. As an ex ICU nurse I would have to say be very hopeful. If they did surgery on him they must have a good feeling and it is imperative to keep him in an induced coma so that his body and brain can rest. It may take some time, as the brain is a very delicate organ but stay strong, pray and be optimistic. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers as well. emoticon
