Lesson #1: Breakfast needs to be satisfying

What did I learn today? When I try to be good, food-wise, and eat a small breakfast, I can fully expect to be hungry come 10 am and ravenous at noon. And when my husband walks in the door at 1:30 pm with fried rice, orange chicken, pot stickers and spring rolls, my self-control is virtually non-existent.

What have I learned? Eat a bigger breakfast - or a snack mid-morning - so that the gnawing ache of an empty stomach doesn't encompass the entirety of your will!

    Very true! I try to eat mini-meals/snacks every few hours. It seems to help me avoid binging.
