Dianedoessmiles asks the question ~ "What does it mean to you to be a Spirited Underdog on the 5% challenge team?".
First, my apologies for not being active on the team this go around. I have been on a doctor ordered vacation since the beginning of the spring challenge. My dear Aunt Vera has moved temporarily to a care facility to receive IV treatments. This means that for the first time in months, I am free to move about the country! Bottom line, plenty of fitness, not much time for the 'puter. As I have for the past year and one half (I can not for one minute believe it has been that long), I do track my food and fitness daily.
Being a SUDS member is vital to my Fitness and Nutrition success. My aunt is 92 and paralyzed on her entire left side. Because her mobility is so limited, it is easier for us to stay home most of the time. I feel so blessed to be a SUDS dawggie as I am able to travel around the world with my aunt and husband, all the while enjoying the comforts our own sanctuary! After my first 5% challenge in Fall 2012, my husband has joined me and we have a blast playing "Survivor Cave people" on the eight week sprints. I could go on and on , but time is a wastin' and I must get back to my R & R!
Last, I feel I can best sum up what it means for me to be a Dawg this way;
If My Computer was my ~ MIND
SparkPeople would be my ~ BODY
and SUDS would be my ~ SPIRIT
Now go on and get off the front porch and RUN!!!
Love,
