So, Spark Coach asked me to write a blog about what my weight goals might be and why.

I look at my weight loss over the last three years, and it does not show me what I was hoping for. Sure, I have dropped some weight, only to gain it back. I am just talking about 3 or 4 pounds, but, it still is not what I was hoping for. I can find excuses: I am older than most people at SP, who are trying to lose weight. I am disciplined at home, but when I go out to eat, I probably eat more. My weight is always up the following 3 or 4 days. I am very active for a 72-year old. I play golf several times a week, walking most of the course, I swim in the summer (the pool just opened, so I will get some of my exercise minutes from there), I do a great amount of walking, and I do strength training with a trainer 2 to 3 times a week.

So, what am I doing wrong? I certainly eat a very healthy diet, lots of fruit and vegetables, but, while checking out the 'Spark Solution' book, today, I thought that, maybe, I still eat and drink (smoothies) too many calories. Strangely enough, when I started tracking my food again, recently, I found that I didn't eat enough calories, considering my active life. Might that be the culprit?

I joined a group that, for different reasons, won't start the 'Spark Solution' program until tomorrow. I will see where that is taking me.

I will report after the next two weeks to let you know how it has all played out.

    Glad to see you back blogging. I still have to read the book, but I am glad you are ready to start. I know another lady wants to start on Monday. She is GRANDMASHUNGRY

    I will start a week from Monday, should finish the book by then.
