The Week in Review

Well, I thought this week was going to be a trainwreck, since my Mensie decided to sabotage any attempt at healthy eating. Drinking water didn't even help. Then I went on the scale to check on Saturday morning before I'd done too much, sure enough, still at 151. YAY!! That means I made it through two weeks of horrible eating without gaining. I didn't lose, but frankly, considering what I've eaten the last two weeks, I was pretty happy with that.

In other news, my knee is now angry at me after work yesterday killed me. We're super busy for memorial weekend, so I spent the entire day restocking and quite literally, jogging back and forth throughout the store, except the two times I stopped to bug customers, or when I was climbing the ladder. I was playing stagehand for 8 hours. Then I sprinted to one of the other stores on lunch break, and then ran back. That really wasn't so bad, but by the end of the day, the overall abuse made it remember it was still not quite over itself sometimes. I'm hoping some pain meds and a gentle walk will help it chill back out. Then I can catch back up on my squats and do my strength training today. We'll see how it all goes.
