Today I feel overwhelmed

Saturday, May 25, 2013

Yesterday was the last of three days of needles. The first was the allergy testing where they found out I am allergic to eggs, the second were my regular allergy shots for molds and trees, etc Then yesterday I had a new nerve conduction study - EMG done on my lower extremities. So today, I am feeling the aftereffects of having my nerve endings barraged with electrical impulse. I hurt all over.

Top that with thinking about what has eggs in it. I have already filled one bag full of groceries I cannot eat due to the product having eggs in it. It is not a matter of choice now, it is a matter of allergy. I know I will know more about the allergy on Wednesday when I go back to the doctor, but I am somewhat overwhelmed with the task.

Sometimes I sit and say, what can I safely eat.
It will all become clear soon.
Meanwhile, I keep my glasses handy so I can read all the labels.

Ouch, just thinking of all the needles is making me ache. Get some rest and hopefully you will feel better after the holiday.

That is going to be tough avoiding all that has egg products in it. At least now you know and can be on your way to eating meals that won't react on you. Label reading is vital now.
Hope you recover soon from those nerve tests. I had one done on my elbow once, yes not fun on the funny bone. I knew the spaces were narrowing and causing tingling and numbness in my hand.
Hope you have a good long weekend!
