Back at the Gym

When I started with my new eating plan, I was urged not to overdo it with the exercise. The calories are very low and combining that with vigorous exercise, especially while the body is adjusting, is not a good idea.

Since I've been on the plan for 7 weeks now, I decided it was time to pick back up with the exercise. I mean, I've done a little walking, but today I legit went to the gym.

First, I got dressed. And my workout clothes are fitting so much better! That definitely bolstered my will and confidence.

Then, I got to the gym and did my workout. It wasn't the most vigorous workout I've done, but I got my heart rate up and it felt amazing!

People have asked me how long I am going to follow this plan. Today confirmed my answer.

I will keep using meal replacements until I've exercised at least 5 hours per week and tracked my food daily for a month. When I get to that point, I will be at a good place to consider transitioning.

As good as today felt, that day may not be all that far off.
