Day 55 - 2 steps forward...1 step back

This last week I have been having successful weight losses almost every morning, regardless if it is a 0.2 loss! It is still a loss. My walking has been very consistent which I attribute to my weight loss.

Also, I am now tracking my salt intake. And I am trying to increase my proteins (I fall short most days) and decrease my carbs (I am at the high limits).

These are my 2 steps forward...

But, alas, my TOM is arriving anytime now and that will put me 1 step back. I will be anticipating at least a 3 lb gain which will take me a week or two to get it back to where I am now. I will be working 10 hour days this weekend (saturday thru monday) which will severely curtail my walking of 3 miles per day...unless I walk the halls at my work. It is a residential group home with one incredibly long hallway that is bent at the middle. 13 round trips equals 1 mile, so my pedometer says. I will have to google map it to see if it is accurate...

However, this time with TOM visiting, I will be watching my salt intake and try to keep it on the very low end! (I never use table salt... so this is what is already in the foods I have chosen to eat.). I am hoping this way I won't gain much, if anything at all. That would be cool!

Well, back to work again...a client hollered saying her toilet clogged...eeeew!
