I give up

I gave up using Spark since they changed exercise log. I tried my best to remain a member, but change results in me to spend more time on the site and less time moving.

I don't know the number of calories I burn from weight lifting since gym computer keeps track and too difficult for me to write down to incorporate on this site. I don't own cell phone. So tracking that way is out.

I think it is pointless for me to track food without knowing exactly how many calories I burn via exercise and have not lost weight. My trainer wants to see food and exercise log when we meet and I can not provide this anymore. Plus I have not lost weight in a long time.

I will drop by Spark occasionally to check posts and mail. All good things must come to end. Just sorry it had to be Spark.

    I would hate to see you go! You have been here as long as I - I too am having difficulties with the weight loss but I keep telling myself it is better than gaining so Sparking is still good for us. I haven't used the new exercise tracker because I bought a fitbit which is truly fun - it interacts with Sparks so that both share exercise and food tracking. Fitbit also tracks sleep and makes it a bit more challenging to meet your goals - you should check it out. I got mine for a deal because I had some Staple rewards and it only ended up costing me about $35.00. It would provide your trainer with feedback also - maybe ask him/her about it. Good luck whatever you decide and maybe if Sparks gets enough complaints they will make a more beneficial change. Take Care!
