I was away last weekend. My daughter was graduating with her MDiv so the whole family went down to Princeton. My oldest met us there and it was busy, noisy and joyful! After graduation my daughter and my grandson as well as my oldest daughter came home with us. So I have all four of my kiddos home as well as my grand baby. My son in law has to work so he stayed in NJ but will visit for the long weekend. There will be nine folks here over the weekend! My daughters and grand baby will be here for a good part of June.

I love having everyone here. But it is hard to find time to exercise or to track my meals. My daughter and grandson tried to go walking with me several times this last week, but the little guy gets tired of it pretty quickly and we end up with a crying baby to carry back. He's 11 months old. Too young to walk himself but heavy to carry if he decides he wants out of the stroller or baby carrier!

To tell the truth I'm so tired every day just from trying to keep up with an active baby that adding in a workout seems crazy!

But I need to do something. My daughter is also trying to lose weight. She hasn't lost any of her baby weight and is unhappy about it. She's been doing weight watchers and wants to try to start the couch to 5k. I said I'd join her. We will see how that works out!
