Day #329 & Day #16 - Back I guess - Goals

Thursday, May 23, 2013

Well I'm still under the cold blues but I'm at work today. I feel better than I was feeling which is a plus. My weigh-in today I'm down another pound!!! emoticon Made it under my prior tickler weight so I've updated my tickler emoticon Of course I've been eating a little less due to my cold but still trying to eat every meal as much as I could bare. I started this week with my alternating eating plan. I think I shared it in my previous blogs but here it is again.

Every other day I'm changing between - 1) my normal diet and 2) fruits, veggies, smoothies, salads only day. As I said before I'm trying to wean myself back into my fruit, veggie, smoothie challenge that I did last year this time to start my journey.

Now I'm like 36 days out from my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of EXERCISING!!! My goal is to get into the 260's by that time. I'm like 5#s from that right now (273.6).

My second goal is I'm going to visit my daughter(s) in July which is a little less than 2 months away I would love to be down 10#s by then. This is also my gift to myself for working out for one full year.

I'm usually not that good at reaching my goals when it comes to weight loss numbers. But I have to have a goal in order to have something to work towards. So this is it. Today as I type this I had a thought when getting dressed this morning. I pulled out a new pair of pants size 18 and realized that I'm now quite comfortable in a size 18 with room to spare. No longer is it a snug 18 but a nice fitting 18!!! So I praise God for keeping me on this road and even when the scale isn't showing success these types of NSVs prove that it's working.
