Day 52 - Really enjoying my morning walks!

I am really enjoying my morning walks! emoticon Everyday I get in 3 miles of walking in 55 minutes. I listen to my iPod as I go. Today I listened to Carrie Underwood's Some Hearts CD. emoticon

I am finding that I start reflecting on my daily goals, my joys, the direction I want to take my life in, my family, and I pray. emoticon

I thank God for another beautiful day! Today, I did not know if I would get my 3 miles in since it was rainy this morning. It cleared up some, so I grabbed my walking shoes, my iPod, and my pedometer and headed out the door. I was able to walk the full 3 miles!!! The skies were starting to darken again after the 2nd mile and I prayed that I can do another mile before the heavens opened up. emoticon

Yay! I made it!!! I got my 3 miles in!!! emoticon

Now as I write this blog (after my shower), I am hearing the wonderful noises of thunder! emoticon

I think this is a perfect day to catch up in my TV shows and read from my Kindle. I just started a new book called The White Queen by Philippa Gregory. She wrote the book, The Other Boleyn Girl that was made into a movie.
