Starting to struggle

Wednesday, May 22, 2013

I feel like I am beginning to struggle. Maybe, it's just the day. My back has been hurting after I get off the treadmill recently. It doesn't hurt while I'm walking, but starts immediately after. I didn't do the treadmill this morning. I hope to do it after work today. Hopefully, this way I'll be able to get through the day with a little less pain. I don't want to give up the treadmill because it's working. I'm just feeling down because of the back pain. I think I'll make an appointment with the chiropractor today and see if they can figure out what's up.

I agree with the others, try something else. But whatever you do, DON'T GIVE UP ! ! There are a ton of other things that you can do, try a few or try them all. Make it fun. Enjoy the journey. You are doing something wonderful for you. A couple of things to remember, though. You need to warm up before any exercise and more importantly you need to cool down and stretch those muscles out when you are done.

Just a thought, could you have pulled a muscle when you planted your garden?

I agree with JohGlo, perhaps do one of the chair or other vids on the site or something just to give other muscle groups a chance and relieve your back/legs a bit.

    Hope you feel better!

Good idea - hopefully the chiropractor will be able to help. Best wishes! Also, maybe you just need to give your back a break by doing some other form of exercise for a few days. DVDs, walking outside, stretches, etc. Just a thought. :)
