Week 11

Monday, May 20, 2013

I am happy to say that I have now lost over 50lbs, and boy am I feeling it in increased energy. I am very impressed with how much my energy levels have increased and at how much easier things are to do now. Of course 50 lbs is a big milestone so it's time to look at future milestones. Up next will be to leave the 270's and get to the 260's. I'm figuring that should be attainable within 2 weeks based upon how the weight has been coming off. The next huge milestone will be to get to 75lbs down and based on how the weight is still coming off with my current calorie range that should be doable. I'm just sticking to what is working and seeing where it takes me.

I am going to up my workout time this coming week, simply because of feeling more energized. I'm going to dust off the treadmill and put it back into action. I'm in a catch 22 situation in that the exercise bike is probably easier on my knees, but the weight bearing work out of the treadmill is better for my osteoporosis. With the weight loss that I've already achieved my knees are feeling very good so I figure I'll try the treadmill.

Hey does anyone use the fitbit, I'm quite curious about it, wondering how people who use it like it.

Oh and I almost forgot, gave myself a rather grand 50lbs down present. I've purchased a new 2013 car, just waiting on delivery. It sure makes for an amazing non food reward.

SUPER CONGRATS!!! That's so awesome that you've reached the 50 lbs goal, AND the new car idea!!! That's amazing!

Also: I use the fitbit, and I love it, and swear by it. I do everything I can to get the 10k steps a day, and 10 floors it offers as a default, it gives me motivation, and competition between my boyfriend and I! Works okay on treadmills and stuff, but you don't get the "Miles" tracked. The only thing is you have to make sure you don't wash them, or lose them!!! They are not water proof!

    So proud of you!!!
