Monday 5/20/13

Weighed in this morning ;) 171.5; which is funny cuz I fit into the clothes that I did when I was around 140 or below. CRAZY SHIZ RIGHT?! That is PROOF of what physical activity can do for your body! I have not really cut out anything food wise. Since I am further along on my road to healthy awaking now, my tendency to not fill my plate, eat the “good stuff” first and to stop when I feel full have taken over like second nature. It feels great!

I read through my journal and I am kinda proud of myself. I have gone from “dieter” to “on a journey to a fit life”…’s kind of a big deal! LOL!

B: poached egg, small ham steak, one slice wheat toast
L: Apple with pb, chicken ceaser salad
D: ground beef /turkey, lettuce tacos

I am crazy sore from scrimmage yesterday! I really put my all into it and it felt amazing. I am starting to understand the game although I really need to buckle down on learning the rules and track awareness. Not only is the SPORT of Roller Derby extremely physically taxing it is mentally exhausting as well!! You have to think of so many things at one time it’s insane!! You’ve got 5 girls at high speed on SKATES trying to annihilate you, & ref’s & teammates yelling at you! Then add to that an open adrenalin throttle talk about CRAZYNESS!! LOL!

    That's why derby is the perfect exercise. You aren't thinking about exercising at all when you play!
