Migraine derailed the day!

Monday, May 20, 2013

I had a headache that wouldn't quit yesterday. Even migraine med's didn't relieve it, but sleep did as it's gone today. I was making this weeks menu when it hit so that came to a big old halt! I did find something to make for that night though and managed to get it done.
I don't usually get migraines but mom gave me some med's a while back when I was having them. It came out of the blue. Sure hope it is gone as today is busy with redoing the laundry room. I'm waiting for ups to deliver a new storage unit that I want to put together but am afraid it will take hubby help. I've cleared out the old shelf and items on it. Now I have to clean the dusty dirty floor and take a small cabinet off the wall.
Tonight is my grandsons preschool graduation. Ugh. Understand it is at the only church I've had panic attacks to get out of. From their Sunday service to preschool graduation they are too long! Hours. We left last year ,when the first grandson graduated, after the skits nearly two hours of them. Of course it was a fiasco they are 4 ! Skit after skit where each kid had a speaking part and none remembered. The church service we went to had over an hour of music before the preacher ever said a word! Then he sat down and more music. I can't remember anything he said cuz I was praying for it to end. Hubby and I were searching for a service we both like as I am catholic, he's not. We later found a service we loved but everyone in the congregation were much older than us. Well enough of that I have to get back to work!

Must be a migraine weekend. Had one while camping - lasted all day Saturday but like you, sleep seemed to make it go away. Sunday was good, Monday was fine until about 7ish and then another hit and it seems to be lurking in the background right now.

I pray you find just the right body of worshippers to join. I, too, get horrid migraines and had to go to my neurologist for the last one. Two injections got me over the hump after several days and no help from prescription migraine meds. I wish you good outcomes in everything!
