I just broke another ten pound milestone. My sleeve surgery was at the end of January and I have lost just shy of fifty pounds! I have thirty pounds to go until I make it to the "oneder's" as they say on "The Biggest Loser" Tv show. I am down two sizes in clothes. I was walking up the stairs the other day and my old jeans fell off! My husband cracked up.

Has it been the "easy way" as some call it? Pardon my language but, hell no! Normally the pre-op process takes about six months. Due to complications from a colonoscopy, I became anemic and had to wait an extra six months! By then I was over any doubts I might have had.

It's been four months since my surgery. I generally loose about two pounds a week. I have a few plataus along the way. Sometimes they last a few weeks. I think that is the body's way of adjusting. My friends and co-workers have been wonderfully supportive. Other people that have had WLS seem to come out of the woodwork!

I have no regrets about the surgery other than not doing it ten years earlierl. I wish anyone considering surgery the best. You won't regret it!
