My Spark Solution Decision

What made me decide to try The Spark Solution Program? I needed something to help jumpstart my attempt at tackling my weight again. I was using SP regularly, but just couldn't get back into the groove of things. I owned the Spark, and started reading it again to give me that inspiration that I was lacking, when I saw the ad to preorder the new Spark Solution. There it was, my fresh start, my chance to get back on track and build on my knowledge of what it takes to get healthy. I got my order put in, and waited anxiously for Amazon to deliver the book to my door.
I gobbled up the first few chapters in a matter of hours the evening the book arrived, revived and even more excited to start the challenge on May 13th! I was even more excited to see that I had most of the items on the shopping list, meaning I was already on the right track! I prepped my first meal, and then my second. After the end of the week, I had eaten nearly every meal proposed on the plan, worked out each day, and was down over 2lbs for my effort. I know I need structure when it comes to eating right, and the plan didn't disappoint. I ate well, was full, and had something to show for my effort. The meal plan is what makes the most of this for me. The chance for new foods, instead of my usual repetoire (which was good, but needed some sprucing up). The meal that I enjoyed the most and was glad to have to double up on was the Mexican Breakfast Burrito. It was both tasty and filling, and just had enough kick. Oh, and if you wrap foil around it, it becomes quite portable, lol.
Each chapter has an insider tip. They are little bits of motivation from other members, who were just like the rest of us on a quest for a healither them. My favorite quote regards faking it to make it. Basically, the hint was to get those workout clothes on to help motivate myself to work out. If I didn't sleep in them, I put them on first thing in the bathroom so there was no excuse to avoid working out. It helps. I am already ready, so why not get on the elliptical or do my pushups, lol.
My goal next week is to continue being focused on the meal plan. The more I empower myself with great recipes, the easier it will be once I have to go my remaining journey "alone". This book has been a great help so far, and I am certain it will remain close to me if I ever feel lost or am looking for a bit of inspiration!
