Too much excitement for this old farmer!

Sunday, May 19, 2013

We got up this A M early as usual and doing what a person usually does in the bathroom hear the GLBH scream from the kitchen, LYLE COME QUICK! I though for sure her pacemaker was knocking her down. Ran in to see and by that time she was in the living room with a plastic cup on her hands a knees. What's going on I ask? Can't you see I'm trying to catch a frog was her reply! Alot better than what I expected. By that time he got behind our T V. Not sure if everyone's looks this bad behind there but we have wires everywhere. I went to get a fly swatter figuring I could knock him cold to remove, will after getting a good shot of him climbing up the wall realized that strategy was fruitless. Thought about getting a pair of gloves on but thought by then he might be hiding in another spot. So did the farmer thing and held him tight against the wall and smashed him with my hand. GLBH then opened the front door to the road and wanted me to through him out, when I didn't move quite fast enough hollered I have the door open come out! I said do you mind if I wait for that passing car to go by so they don't see me in my underwear! She mumbled something like they aren't going to see anything anyway! Just another day in the life of The Warner's, isn't it great! Have a great one!

Yes that was entertaining. And I think most people in that circumstance would have been the same way.

Glad you caught it! That might have drove your wife crazy waiting on a frog to jump out at her! Our kids are both home this weekend for family Graduations. We came home last night and my sons little beagle had gotten out of her cage somehow. She had eaten the wood trim on both sides of our front door. Needless to say I was not so happy! Andrew's on his way to Menards to get new trim to fix it. Thank goodness he does maintenance repairs! Hubby should have our corn all planted today! How's your planting going? Take care Skeeter! Safe farming to you! emoticon
