Insanity, and a 8 mile trek, finally getting back on track

This week I have been working on getting back on track with fitness. I have started back on the insanity program and yesterday me and the kiddos went on a 8 mile hike. 4 miles in we ended up at Porter beach and decided to spend a couple hours playing on the beach then hiked back the 4 miles to our car. It was a wonderful hike and very relaxing. Saw some beautiful scenery and walked through a large lavender patch. It smelled soo good. Today I am really feeling the burn from yesterday but it was definately worth the scenery and the laughter and time spent with my kiddos. Definately the best way to spend a snow day!
