I'm back where I need to be~

After about a year of neglecting Spark People I am back to doing my fitness thing. See last year seemed to go by like a bullet train. No matter its 2013 and I am relearning some things and picking up some new habits so I can be the best I am capable of being.
First is to get a new Pedometer and eat more simply. I already am walking but I need more activity on top of that. So I am beginning to get the hang of the program here again so I can feel even more in control. I don't need to lose any weight I don't think but as one works on their body issues things fall into place literally and figuratively.
Right now I am mainly walking outdoors without a pedometer and I need one so that issue will be resolved in a few days. Plus, I am cooking more for myself than eating crap food Plus I am omitting most liquid that has no place in my diet. I haven't been a big soda or sugary drinker but over the past few weeks I have had too much soda and sweet juice so those are getting kicked back to very special occasion status only.
I think I did pretty well with food and drink today minus having some ice cream. That was a pretty big mistake but I had Quinoa, vegetables and fruit, fish and water today so those were the big positives. I'm wanting to eat more vegan style so big thumbs up there. My appetite is getting under control and I've never been a big sweets person but apparently ice cream can get me going right?
Okay, today is shopping and perhaps I can get on track with my writing and walking again. Its cardio and strength training day so onward and upward~
