Try to get pass

Thursday, May 16, 2013

We often say that we will get pass this or I need to try to get pass this but do we ever stop to consider the process. For a long time, I tried to understand what it meant to jus give it to God. I use to say How do you do that? I learned that when you ask forgiveness, it is forgiven. I submit that that is just the beginning. We often forget to forgive ourselves for our mistakes. The enemy plays on that sooooo often. There is no condemnation in GOD. If you've asked for forgiveness then you are forgiven, period! The other thing is that we want to hide our mistakes from everyone. If God has did the work and you have been delivered then why hide? We use to call this a testimony. Give God the glory in the good and the bad. Even the detours in life teach us a lesson. Ask Jonah!!! Holla

I grew up in a house where my parents didn't want or like correction and weren't wrong and didn't apologize, as they thought it usurped their authority. With my kids, I readily admitted my errors, oddly enough, my kids did too. They didn't hide their errors. So perhaps if we can raise folks with authority in the church and schools to admit their humanity, perhaps there will be less hiding, and I also believe less substance abuse and/or obesity and a whole lot of other social ills. God loves humans. God knows we're not perfect and loves us anyway...striving for perfection gives us motivation, not obstacles. It gives us potentials towards all things (following the big ten rules) are possible!

Keep sharing the love and enjoying the faith journey!

    May God bless you

Yes, offer Him the sacrifice of praise not because of but inspite of life's hardships and struggles and obstacles because He that is in us is greater then he that is in this world and we are over comers, just keep the praises flowing in the name of Jesus.
