Changing Habits - Finding Your Passion
Thursday, May 16, 2013
This past week - as I began my journey to making real changes to my life, I have noticed some things re-surfacing in terms of my desires and passions.
One of those is to write more and so I began another blog through Wordpress. The other thing I am contemplating is to perhaps take on a larger project and write a book. I've inquired with some resources and the prospect scares me but excites me as well.
When we let go of old habits - it's important to replace them with new activities. I am finding that with this change I have more time on my hands and in order to keep busy, it means finding new (or maybe old) things to do.
Sometimes we fear letting go of old habits because it puts us out of our comfort zone, but what we must recognize is all the doors it opens to some pretty new and amazing things we can learn and discover (or re-discover). For instance, I have always loved crafts and dancing. I have thought about for ages about taking classes and have yet to step forward to do so - and now with the extra time on my hands, it's a true possibility.
When you believe in yourself, anything is really and truly possible. Love where you are now, appreciate the good, but always strive to improve yourself every single day! That is what living life to the fullest is all about!!
