May Update

May hasn't gone to bad so far. Pretty pleased with myself. I have lost 10 lbs in the last 4 weeks. And finished my second 5K of the year. Movin and a Grovin. The next week and a half will be busy, end of my spring semester, lots of homework to finish up and then finals. But determined to keep this ball rolling :o)

Mays goals:

1 I have focused on just getting back into a workout routine, which has been mostly cardio, I need to get strength training back into my routine - strength training 3 times a week
*I have only done two days a week the first two weeks of may, will get it in 3 times this week.

2 Go to the gym at work during lunch at least 3 out of 5 days if not 4.
*Rockin this one, 4 days a week.

3 Get up and run every Sat morning if it isn't raining (sorry, I draw the line at rain)
*Hmmmm, this did not happen the first two Sat of May - May 4th raining, May 11th ran a 5K the night before

4 If we can get the registration swapped from some friends that can no longer participate - run a night 5K on 5/10
* emoticon emoticon Actually was only about 2.5 miles in 25.23 mins

5 Continue Preparing my lunches for the week each Sunday
*Doing great with this, no excuses :o)

Participating in the May challenge with my Parents of Preschoolers group
*Going good. Got 3rd place for fitness minutes the first week. Will see how the second week wraps up tomorrow.

Started the 5% Spring into Summer challenge Saturday
*My 5% goal is to lose 8.44 lbs over the next 8 weeks
