May starting to feel better
Monday, May 13, 2013
I woke up very sick on May 5th. I thought it was allergies. I went and received my shots on May 8th. I did not feel any better and I was coughing for an hour each night. I was taking tylonel when I went to bed and again when the coughing was bad about 2am.
On Friday, I started taking over the counter allergy medicine and it was keeping me going throughout the day but my husband was exhausted. Finally, Saturday May 11th, I was up most of the night. On Sunday, I went to Patient First and received an antibiotic for my Upper Respiratory Infection. I stopped the OTC allergy medicine, hooked up the vaporizor and went back to the tylonel. I slept until 2am and then coughed briefly and took the tylenol and then slept until 6am.
Today, May 13th, I am still coughing but it is not wearing me out and I am feeling much better. I have continued to eat healthy and work out each day so that has been a blessing. Normally, I would have turned to comfort foods and sulked but still worked out. I don't stop that unless I have to.
Hopefully, I will continue to recover so that I can walk the dogs in the morning. That was the one thing I did give up. It showed. They were grouchy by the weekend so they got their weekend walk.
