Just felt like bragging a little :)

Today I wore a new bra. It has the same band size as the bras I wore throughout high school. Of course, it was fastened on the first hooks and the cup size is one bigger than back then but can I get a emoticon I also realized today that when I weighed myself this morning, I only weigh 5lbs more than I averaged through high school emoticon 4lbs from now is another major milestone... that's when I'll hit that "healthy BMI" range. Then, of course, 5lbs from now is back to where I was nearly 25 years ago plus I'm only 19lbs away from my original arbitrary goal. I'm also wearing size 8s and 10s now but "back then" I wore mostly 12s and 14s so, yeah, the numbers are pretty random. But anyway, emoticon emoticon

    You are rocking it woman! You're such a beautiful soul and now you're getting the healthy body you deserve.

    Totally not wanting to put a bummer on your size comparison, but with the continued push for vanity sizing, what used to be a size 2 is now a size 00 so what was a 12 is now often called an 8 or less. A year or 2 ago I tried on size 2 pants that were more like a size 12 (I was wearing a 6-8 and even zipped it fell right off me. For men, a size 40 is supposed to mean a 40" waist circumference, but now they measure more like 44-46" instead. Vanity sizing is crap.

    HOWEVER, if someone is not losing pounds but clothing is fitting better it means the fat pounds are being replaced by muscle pounds. Muscle is more dense than fat, so 1 pound of fat takes up more space than 1 pound of muscle. So I'm sure you're body is being reshaped even though your weight isn't dropping like it used to.

    I think it's time you buy yourself a sexy new bra to wear on dates! The guy might not see it, but wearing it will help you feel beautiful and confident!
