Starting Over

Sunday, May 12, 2013

Basically I have been unhappy about my weight and fitness level for several years. My junior year of high school, during my field hockey season, I got down to my lowest weight ever of about 145. But during the holidays, my weight crept up and up, and has continued to do so every off-season, until I am now slightly over 160 pounds. I know I am not "fat," but I am still ready for a change. I am tired of being the heaviest in my family, tired of being the most out-of-shape on my field hockey team. This summer I am finally going to take becoming healthy and fit seriously. I hope by the end of the summer that I can lost about 15 pounds, and seriously increase my fitness level to where I can run with the rest of my team and not fall behind, or feel more comfortable next to my skinny friends and sisters. Wish me luck!
