Hectic week, puppy with no home, and just tired...

Sunday, May 12, 2013

Soo i havent been on sparkpeople this week. It has been so hectic with clinic appointments in chicago with my son, yard work, errands, apts, cleaning and a rescue. The rescue has broke my heart and i can say that i am so disappointed and appalled with some of our local rescues. If i hear another rescue say we will only help him if you put him in a kill shelter i am seriously going to scream. A acquaintance of mine came to me looking for help. someone was going to "put down" a pup by their own means due to them being tired of it and not wanting him in the first place due to being a gift. People for the love of God please DO NOT gift a animal. this little guy i have right now is the perfect example of what happens to "gifts" he had a bullet with his name on it. Just DO NOT gift animals it never works out. He is worth the issues im having placing him and i am glad that he is alive and able to drive me nuts with his puppyness lol

Really, is there any sweeter blessing than being driving out of your mind by a puppy?

Yes, thank you! Thank you for being the sort of person who cares enough to sacrifice convenience so that a fellow creature can live. I applaud you and I'm so glad to hear that you found a forever home for the puppy. Have a great week!

While writing this blog our prayers were answered and a rescue stepped up to the plate. We are working on transport for the almost 2 hour treck to the people that will find his perfect forever home. I am in tears and so thankful and knowing hes being put in a rescue was worth this weeks heartache ten fold
